Thank you to those of you who have subscribed to join in on my Olivia’s Baskets Sew-along. I am so excited to have you along! If you haven’t already subscribed to the Sew-Along newsletter, you can do that here. I’ll be giving away fabric and some of my favorite notions, so you won’t want to miss it.
I’ve split up the sew-along into three bite-sized parts so you can do a little bit at a time and more easily fit it into your busy schedule. Here is the timetable:
Week 1: Announce your participation in the sew-along using the #oliviabasketsewalong hashtag and a photo of your fabric pull. Cut out your fabric pieces.
Week 2: Quilt your Soft and Stable and make the handles.
Week 3: Assemble and bind the basket, then fill it with your goodies!
Trust me, you’re in for some fabulous prizes from the following sponsors that I’ll be giving away to some lucky winners:
Follow the prompts each week, use the hashtag above in your posts, and you will be entered to win a prize each week!
When I designed Olivia’s Baskets, I had my adorable nieces in mind, thinking they would be a perfect addition to a nursery. But that’s not all they are great for—I have seen these baskets used for many different purposes e.g. storing fabric or yarn, and my personal favorite—Easter Baskets! Which is why this sew-along is conveniently-timed before Easter! I am working on some Easter Baskets for my own nieces.
As you work on your own Olivia’s Baskets, think about who it’d be perfect for—even if it’s yourself! I promise I won’t tell. 🙂
If you don’t have a pattern already you can snag one here in my shop!
